What is Fresh Yields, or more to the point, what has Fresh Yields been?
This site has been around since 2004-2005, when Fresh Yields was the name of a web design and development firm I was trying to start and had a little success with. I was working a full time job as well, and over time, the full time job won.
A couple years later, I decided to try to build Fresh Yields again. This time, I was going to build my own web apps. I would blog more, build networks of friends online and promote the sites I was building. That didn’t last long either.
Since then, this site has just kind of sat here. All my old blog posts were here, and for some reason, comments weren’t moderated. SO MUCH SPAM!
Now I’m just writing as a release. I still have thoughts of being my own boss or developing the next big thing, but I’m 40, my kids are getting older, and I either have too much responsibility or too little energy some days.
So if you are reading this, welcome! If you are able to sift through all the boring things I’m sure to write, there may be things that you can relate to, things you are searching for answers to, or just things that make you crack a brief smile.
