For the longest time I figured that more was better, but I have since discovered otherwise. The main page of my blog does not contain Adsense - when it did I got all sorts of unrelated junk. Now, if you are reading a post I did about Ireland, the ads served on its single page view (which is where those who are coming in from search engines are coming in) server very nicely targeted ads. Needless to say, my CTR has increased dramatically. Hope this helps!
